Water Baptism

Baptism at Clara Church of God is a powerful step of obedience that publicly declares our personal faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior. Just as Jesus was baptized, we follow His example as a way to honor Him. When we are baptized, we are fully submerged in water, symbolizing our identification with Jesus’ death and burial, and then raised out of the water to celebrate the new life we have in His resurrection. It’s an outward expression of the inward transformation that has taken place through faith in Christ.
