EPIC Saturday

Earlier this year our community held town hall meetings to discuss the rising concern of teen violence and crime rate. During these meeting "the church" was mentioned several times as the answer to this problem but how could we help??

EPIC was born after much prayer about how we could help pour into our teens and give them alternatives to the violence. 

What is EPIC? EPIC will meet the first Saturday of each month and is open to all 5th-12th graders. The program will run from 9AM - 12PM. We will teach kids important life skills like routine automobile maintenance, cooking, sewing, and all things we wish to keep passing on to the next generation. 

We believe in a being a generational church and this is a way that we can bring the wisdom of the elders to the energy of the youth and believe that when these two generations can run together, our community will benefit. We will end each day with a devotion so to not only provide life skills but to help sharpen their spiritual skills as well.

In the future EPIC will also include parent workshops and a program to help prepare high school students for college and job placement.
